If you would like to receive these media in an other format such as Windows Media Player, etc. please contact solutions@gerardpas.com and we will try to accommodate you.

A Virtual Tour of some of the works in QuickTime

We have made every effort to make your viewing of these movies as easy as possible and have therefore provided 3 different sizes of each movie. By size we mean not only in pixels but also in download times. Large and medium movies are generally all set to 320 X 240 pixels while small movies are at 275 X 206 pixels or smaller. Resolution is also adjusted to each size. If you would like to see any of these movies with higher resolution or in another media player format please contact solutions@gerardpas.com or click on a mail link at the bottom of every page.

We recommend that for you to better understand these short movies, it would be best to view the still photographs with their detailed descriptions, located in the installation aspect of this project. To see the installation section just return to the main page or use the links at the bottom of this page.

Additionally , Gerard would like to point out that these movies are all rough-cuts and not final edited versions. When time permits the more refined and final-
cut versions will be made availed to us here.

In the meantime enjoy!

In this movie you see what begins with a short glimpse of one of of Huang Chih-Yang's DVD television projections titled "Shrimp Hair". The movie then quickly pans up one of Gerard's sculptures. This sculpture is of a crutch morphing into a large Bamboo tree. At almost 4 metres tall it was the largest sculptural work in the exhibition.

This movie is the longest and largest movie which we are providing at this time. It begins with a Huang Chih-Yang germ and then pans up a PaS sculpture. When the movie reaches the top you are able to see a few of the other sculptures in the room before the camera returns down the sculpture back to the DVD and the containers which hold both.

This movie is a installation shot of Huang Chih-Yang's personal room during the exhibition of "corpoREAL exCHANGE" in New York. This camera simply pans from left to right and back again. As the light from the DVD's is so bright the movie does not show the cushions and blankets which Huang had placed on the floor very well. Huang placed these cushions so that viewers could get comfortable while watching his "I'm Cute Germ" DVD's. You can see the pillows in the small image of the room above.
