It uses a large harp concerto loop as the soundtrack throughout

Gerard then created this introduction but felt that the piano
soundtrack did not reflect the qualities of his collaboration
with Huang. |

Koto, Temple Drum and Harp
Gerard completed the introduction by finding what he considered
a balance between Western and Eastern sentiments in the soundtrack.
The sounds are from a low Koto with a temple bell, the sound
then migrates into the strumming of a celtic harp when the
crutch begins to morph into a living tree. |
