corpoREAL exCHANGE Media
Various and differing media was created by both Huang Chih-Yang and Gerard for this exhibition. Huang's work with exception to the actual sculptural installation is almost entirely media based. Huang used a digital video recorder to record the germs, then transferred the DAT-tape to both DVD and CD formats. These recordings were then projected very large using several digital projectors for "I'm Cute Germ". For their collaboration Huang used DVD's projected on television monitors within the large stands (tandoori ovens) which hold Gerard's sculptures. Gerard also made several digital recordings using a Nikon CoolPix 990 camera as documentation for this project. Some of Gerard's documentation can be seen below as well as other Flash, QuickTime and HTML projects relating to the work or exhibition. Huang's actual digital recordings are not available on these pages.

We hope that you enjoy these presentations and that seeing the work "in the round" gives you a better idea of what this very seductive, tranquil, and provocative exhibition provides.
