Acknowledgments

Nothing in life exists within a vacuum and neither does this exhibition or catalogue. While I spent several years putting together the work, many others helped to bring the exhibition and catalogue to you.

I would like to begin by thanking my family. As I stated in my article on 'hEaVEN n eARTh', it costs something to make art, and my family has helped to pay the price. For their generous support and love through both the difficult emotions and passions of making this work, I owe you so much. When one first becomes an artist, you don't realize that others will be drawn into living the 'life of the artist' alongside you. The difficult sojourn of creativity and the meagre financial rewards which accompany it, are shared by my family. I can never say enough - I hope "thank you Maria, Joshua and Nicole" will suffice.

I would like to give special thanks to my son, Joshua Pas, for his assistance in putting together this online catalogue. Together we have made it work, and work well. His hand is on this project in both the macro and micro, and I tip my hat to him for a job well done. Congratulations Josh!
Joshua has several presence's on the web, and I would like to link you to some of them here, so that you might see other examples of the marvelous work his hand and mind have created. Please visit his "Ensi Design" or "Petro Kemical Lounge".

Over the several years which I have been occupied with making the work, there have been many friends and supporters who have stood alongside me in my quest: through critique or just reinforcing my will to make the work. To all of you who go nameless here - thank you!

I would like to point out my gratitude to Brian Meehan, Director of the London Regional Art and Historical Museum for his faith in me: leaving me to my own design in both putting together the show and this catalogue. I trust your faith in me has been rewarded and I am grateful to you for giving me your confidence.

I would like to thank The London Regional Art and Historical Museum (LRAHM) for having the assurance to see this show through to its current realization. This is the first time in which these groups of paintings have been displayed and I am particularly pleased to show them in my hometown first. As you know, LRAHM is not just a faceless organization but a group of people who in some way or another contributed to this project. Thanks then to all of you from the Board of Directors, curatorial staff, preparatory staff, assistants, to the secretarial and cleaning staff.

Thanks then must also be given to the Corporation of the City of London for their financial support of the Museum thus providing me with this opportunity to share my work in your civic museum.

I would also like to thank all the lenders to the exhibition for their support and generosity in loaning me these works. In some cases, while they own the work, it has never truly been in their own possession: as it has been used for documentation, exhibitions, etc. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

A list of all those who not only helped, but provided images and assistance to this project follows below.
